Let me introduce myself to you. I am Dr. J. K. Garg, Retired Joint director , College Education, Jaipur.I worked as Principal / Vice principal at various postgraduate/ Degree colleges. I Was Lecturer/ Associate Prof./ Head Of Department of CHEMISTRY at GCA ( Govt. College Ajmer.). Beside this I have interest in reading the article of general interest and on Spirituality.I have compiled/ edited/ written several articles, I am deeply interested in day today developments in the society, country and the world. I am very disappointed by the coverage of electronic media, I doubt that most of the media is working to serve the interest of their corporate houses or political masters.
THERE WAS A TIME——
There was a time when leadership mattered, now dealership rules the world. There was a time when Leaders were surrounded by the masses, now Commandos surrounds them. There was a time when anti social person and criminals were sent to prison/ jail, Now electorate send them to Parliament
There was a time when editors runs and decide the contents of the papers/media. Now corporate own it, dictate and runs it to satisfy their and their political master’;s self interests.
There was a time when Teachers and Doctors earn peoples’ respect and love, now they earn only Money, Money and Money. There was a time when quality was a craftsman’s pride, now it is a departmental mess. There was a time when a mouse was an untouchable mammal, now it’s a hand held pest. There was a time when wisdom was cultivated by wise people, now it is flashed on T- shirts. There was a time when teacher taught and students learn , now teacher trade and student consume. There was a time when population was a problem, now it is a flourishing mass market. There was a time when competition brought out the best in products, now it brings out worst in the people.
There was a time when there was a golden rule, now if you have gold you rule. There was a time when truth telling was good for your soul, now it is bad for your promotion. There was a time when success means living by ideals, now it is about rising above all principles. There was a time when beauty was in the eye of the beholder, now it is booming business. There was a time when the government was clean and sex was dirty! Now, one does not know
