डा. जे.के.गर्गAgresen was a religious person. He went to Kashee for worshipping Lord Shiva. Lord shiva appeared in person before him and directed him to worship Goddess Laxmi. Mata Laxmi was pleased by his Bhakti and blessed him with goodwill and gave him VARDAAN of Prosperity for himself and his numorous followers told that she will be always with his followers. (This is the reason that Most of His followers viz the AGARWAL SECT which he had founded. Mata Laxmi ordained him to leave Kshatriya sect and adopt VAISHNAV DHARMA (Trader) . As per Goddess Laxmi’s Blessings Agresen became FIRST VAISHY King.
Agresen and Madhvee went out to search the land for the capital of their kingdom from place to place. At one place they saw that Lions and Sheep’s kids were playing together without any fear. They were highly impressed with the love and affection of the kids and decided to make this place their Kingdom and gave it the name of AGREYEN. This beautiful discovery of MAA MADHIVEE and PITA AGRESEN is now known as AGROHA. Agroha now has become as pilgrimage for Agarwal community and also has a grand temple of them.
