What is the SOUL(आत्मा)?
l Soul is the JEEV, and Body is like its clothes. Soul simply watch all the acts of the body but does not become the part of it. Soul is immortal and it neither is created nor destroyed. When the body becomes old or sick then it changes the body and enters the new one in the same way as we wear new clothes in place of old one.
Our soul (Atma) is a passenger on our return journey to our real home. Our life (Jeevan) act as a path which it uses to return to home. Our body is that vehicle in which ATMA sits and undertake journey through out the life.
Soul is conscious being. It enters a body to enjoy worldly things
What is the aim of our SOUL(आत्मा)?
To seek MUKATI (मुक्ति) or LIBERATION. So that we may get rid ourselves of all kinds of pains and sorrows and see the bliss of the GOD this is called MUKATI or MOKSHA( मोक्ष).
Always think that I am not a mere BODY but only pure soul
Thinking about the welfare of the soul prevents wastage. Those who remain satisfied achieve peace. Everyone around them becomes their friends, admirers or supporters. They always remain blissful. Nothing remains to be achieved by a person who follows the path of the welfare of the SOUL
SOUL CALL—-7 P’s—–
P1— stands for PEACE (शांति), it implies stability. Our inside needs to be stable in terms of different people, situations and objects. Accepting, taking responsibility and looking for seeds of opportunity in every difficult situation. A calm and pure mind is essential for inner peace.
p2—implies PREPARATIONS. This means we will wither away one day and therefore, we must move away from what we may think is ours, but is actually not, and for this we must prepare ourselves, mentally as well as spiritually. Yogis in India and our ancient vedic tradition teaches us to take every morning as a new birth and every night as death. Learning to die every day to the past is very important.
P 3—is for PLANNING(योजना). How much should we plan and pursue to achieve our goals? Or should we just wait for things to happen to us. Planning ahead of time is important. Care is to be taken to not be a victim of psychological time which means getting s lost in the future and it’s planning that we forget our present.
P 4—implies PURPOSE(उद्देश्य). We must identify the purpose of our lives, what should we do with the surplus we have? Should we share with others? Why are we born? What are my skills? Each one of us is unique and is born with a special purpose. Finding ones purpose in life is THE most important thing.
P 5— is for PREVENTION. One research concludes that out of 100 unpleasant things which happen in our life, only 10 are natural. The remaining 90% is self inflicted. Our proactive response to the problem rather than a negative reaction is going to help us from 90 percent of problems.
P 6—is for PRANAMS(प्रणाम). Means gratitude for all we possess. When we are folding our hands in pranam we are expressing gratitude and respect to the people we are coming across. This way we are demonstrating openness to everything that is happening in our lives and taking the path of least resistance. With gratitude, we begin to receive manifold.
P 7—is for PRAYERS (प्राथना). Mean surrender, prayers to stay afloat despite the possessions. Complete surrender to the universe opens the bounty. Abundance becomes natural, both internally and externally.
