If you remember there was an intense “Anti Hindi Agitation “particularly in south India and broadly in all non-Hindi States. After prolonged negotiations the Union Government had announced THREE LANGUAGE FORMULA. It was propose that Non Hindi state will include Hindi as 3rd language beside their regional language and Hindi in the educational curriculum up to secondary level and all Hindi states will include at least one non Hindi Language i.e Bengali, Ooriya, Asame, Telague, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi etc. Prior to this agitation in early 1962 there was widespread discussion about the need of “EMOTIONAL INTEGERATION” in our country. Leaders used to request the country man to work for Emotional Integration of the country and urging the youth to learn at least one additional Language other than their mother tongue, Hence I too want to learn Non Hindi language and citing the idea of Emotional Integration I wrote letters to the various state Governments to provide me facility to learn the Language of Their state . I got the Reply from Different State viz government of Kerala, Assam, Mysure, Governments. I also got a letter from NIKHIL BHARAT BANGLA BHASHA PRACHAR SAMITI ( ( International Institute of Bengali ), Whose president was hon. Dr.Hayun Kabir. And chairman : Dr. P. C. Sen, dated 14 july 1962 vide letter No. 129 I still have with me, few original letters received from them
