*INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF JURISTS ANNOUNCES INTERNATIONAL PEACE PRIZE TO DALAI LAMA, ACHARYA LOKESH MUNI, AND MALALA YOUSAFZAI*

New Delhi, 8 August 2025 — The International Council of Jurists has announced the conferring of the prestigious International Peace Prize to three globally revered peace personalities spiritual leader of Tibetan people Dalai Lama, Jain Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, and nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai.

The announcement comes ahead of the International March for Nuclear Disarmament and a Peaceful World, to be held on Saturday, 9th August 2025, at Speakers’ Corner, Hyde Park, London, marking the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki.

The International Peace Prize is being awarded to Dalai Lama, for his lifelong commitment to non-violence, global peace, and universal compassion and Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, for his efforts in promoting interfaith dialogue, social reform, and moral leadership across the world.

Youngest Nobel Peace Laureate Malala Yousafzai, has been selected for her fearless advocacy of education, human rights, and her resilience in the face of extremism.

The Peace Prize honours individuals whose lives and actions embody the spirit of non-violence, justice, and human dignity.

The prize will be presented during the public gathering at Hyde Park. The International March and Award Ceremony will also observe *a one-minute silence* in memory of the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The event is being supported by international human rights groups, civil society leaders, legal professionals, and youth delegations from across continents.
