Three new domestic routes connecting Nagpur, Patna and Ranchi to start before end of June
One international route connecting Kuala Lumpur to start in month of September
Jaipur: Air connectivity is all set to improve at Jaipur international airport in coming days. Star Air on Monday announced its operation with the launch of flight connecting Jaipur-Belagavi. The new airlines will operate three days a week (Monday Wednesday, Friday) from Jaipur to Belagavi and Belagavi to Jaipur.
On the given days, flight will land at Jaipur airport at 15:10 and will depart for Belagavi at 15:40 and will reach at 17:55. From Belagavi flight will depart for Jaipur at 1255.
On Monday, the first flight to Belagavi operated in full capacity with 50 passengers on the board. At the time of boarding a cake cutting ceremony was organized in presence of chief airport officer Vishnu Mohan Jha. All the passengers were given free Goodie bags that contained eatables and soft drinks. Exclusive water cannon salute was also given when the flight landed at Jaipur Airport at 1510 hrs.
The flight to Belagavi will operate on an Embraer E145 aircraft, featuring 50 Economy Class seats in a lavish 1 – 2 seating layout with a spacious 31” seat pitch offering passengers a comfortable and convenient flying experience.
By the end of next month three new air routes are expected to be opened from Jaipur Airport. Indigo airlines is likely to commence its operations by introducing direct flights to Nagpur, Patna and Ranchi. One international route is also likely to start by the month of September. Air Asia Kuala Lumpur will start direct flight connecting Jaipur and Kuala Lumpur.
The launch of a new flights connecting different cities will open up a whole new world of opportunities for students, traders, merchants and working professionals. Till now Air Arabia, Air India Express, Salam Air, Spice jet and Thai Air Asia are operating international flights from Jaipur. These flights will continue to operate as per their schedule.
