Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma Launches Nationwide Youth Campaign for India’s Sustainable Development
– Poster Unveiled on the Occasion of World Environment Day –
Jaipur: june 4,2025 / A nationwide campaign aimed at inspiring youth to engage in innovative, storytelling-based activities that promote environmental action was launched under the joint aegis of Lok Samvad Sansthan and Sustainability Karma. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated the campaign on Wednesday at the Chief Minister’s residence, coinciding with the occasion of World Environment Day. He also unveiled the official campaign poster.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized the importance of harnessing the power of youth for nation-building through such nationwide initiatives. Kalyan Singh Kothari, Secretary of Lok Samvad Sansthan, stated that the goal of the campaign is to sensitize and empower millions of young people across the country’s colleges and universities to become responsible and aware about sustainable development and the environment.
Rajiv Tikoo, Founder of Sustainability Karma, said that the campaign will involve youth through podcasts, videos, and digital content to engage them in innovative environmental and sustainability initiatives across the country.
Speaking at the event, Professor Sudhi Rajeev, Vice-Chancellor of Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication, expressed confidence that youth can drive change and will be empowered through this campaign. Professor Dev Swaroop, Vice-Chancellor of Rajasthan Skill University, noted that the campaign will provide new direction to environmental protection and sustainable development in India.
Also present at the poster launch were DevComm India’s Editor-Host Naina Gautam and Puneet Kothari, Director of Lok Samvad Sansthan.
