Art camp held to honor his memory concludes
Jaipur. Dr. Tanaka of Japan presided over the concluding program of the art camp held in the memory of Ram Gopal ji. Speaking on the literary contribution of Vijayvargiya ji, he said that he knew him only as an artist but after coming here he came to know that he was also a great storyteller and poet.
In the program, Dr. Hari Ram Meena, Dr. Durga Prashad Agarwal, Lokesh Kumar Sahil, Farooq Afridi, Padmashree Shakir Ali, Neelima Tikku among other eminent dignitaries highlighted Vijayvargiya’s literary interest, while Samdar Singh Khangarot, Swet Goyal and Vinod Bhardwaj speaking about his art said that Ram Gopal ji had an inspiring multifaceted personality. He was the only painter to have such ease among artists.
A total of 68 artists participated in the camp, out of which 8 artworks were selected to be awarded. The first prize went to Ravi Kumar Mandawariya, second prize was awarded to Vijay Pal Jangid, third prize went to Rohit Chaudhary.
At the end of the program, Kamal Vijayvargiya, the director of the institution, expressed his gratitude to all the jury and special guests and gave certificates to all the participating painters.
