Sodium does NOT INCREASE the B.P.

knoledge logoFor about 35 years, I have known that SODIUM does NOT cause an INCREASE in the Blood Pressure. The EXCESSIVE CONSUMPTION of Sodium Chloride can cause High Blood Pressure, but the EXCESS of SODIUM is WRONGLY BLAMED for it, when it is the EXCESS of CHLORIDE that is ACTUALLY the CULPRIT for causing the INCREASE in Blood Pressure!

More than a century back, in 1904, two scientists, L. Ambard and E. Beaujard, had discovered the IMPORTANT ROLE that CHLORIDE played in RAISING the Blood Pressure. In 1929, the scientists R. S. Berghoff and A. S. Geraci had performed experiments which CLEARLY PROVED that CHLORIDE was RESPONSIBLE for increasing the Blood Pressure. Their experiments also indicated that SODIUM was NOT the CAUSE of HYPERTENSION.

Why were these GREAT SCIENTISTS not HONORED for their RESEARCH of such HIGH VALUE? The FINDINGS of such GREAT SCIENTISTS are still being IGNORED by the doctors and other medical scientists who WRONGLY continue to BELIEVE that SODIUM causes HYPERTENSION!!

The EXCESS of CHLORIDE can cause a GREATER RETENTION of WATER in the body, which results in High Blood Pressure. I use SODIUM SULFATE as one of the medications to bring down my Blood Pressure to NORMAL, whenever it tends to rise.

By consuming MORE SODIUM in the form of SODIUM SULFATE, nobody can INCREASE his Blood Pressure, as the B.P. can only come DOWN with the consumption of MORE SODIUM SULFATE, which can cause LOOSE MOTIONS and LOSS of WATER!

For maintaining NORMAL Blood Pressure and GOOD HEALTH, we require small quantities of SODIUM salts like SODIUM SULFATE and SODIUM PHOSPHATE, besides an APPROPRIATE amount of SODIUM CHLORIDE. Of course, we should not ignore many other dietary factors, which also produce different effects on the Blood Pressure.
